We must remember that the spiritual foundation for any relationship is between a person and God. This foundation is made possible through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. He loves us so much that He sent His Son Jesus Christ to this earth to die on the cross for our sins – to pay the penalty for our sins, since we cannot pay that penalty ourselves.
