About the Author

About the author, Paul Lagasse has a Doctor of Ministry degree in pastoral ministry from Trinity Bible College and Theological Seminary. He has held various leadership positions including outreach pastor, chaplain, and Chairman of the Board of Directors. He has been involved with various types of evangelism including door-to-door, open air, and nursing homes, helping people find peace through faith.

Paul’s passion is to present the gospel of Jesus Christ as commanded in Luke 10:2 and to encourage others to do the same.

The Lord Jesus Christ first came to Paul when he was serving in the United States Marine Corps. A friend of his and their family befriended him, finally inviting him to their local church. He was later baptized in the Pacific Ocean. While he was deployed to Okinawa, he made a vow to submit to Jesus Christ for the rest of his earthly life and for eternity.

After receiving an honorable discharge, He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering degree and later his Master of Science degree in electrical engineering. He worked in this field for 28 years. He is married and they have two adult daughters and three grandchildren.

God has drawn Paul and his family closer to Him while attending Church and Bible Studies. It was later when God inspired him to attend seminary in preparation for further Christian work.

Paul worked as an outreach pastor along with another pastor making door-to-door visitations to over a thousand households. Conversations were made meeting people where they were at and explaining how God’s love for them through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross for their sins. Some of them repented of their sins and accepted Christ as their Savior, but unfortunately, many did not.

Later, Paul and his wife worked together performing services at a local nursing home and making bedside visitations. It made an impression on hundreds of residents that they could worship God, pray, and receive a message. But we were equally blessed seeing their spiritual needs met.

Paul served many years on the Board of Directors at Community Chaplain Service. This organization served to minister to many nursing home volunteers across the eastern seaboard.

Paul’s passion is to present the gospel of Jesus Christ as commanded in Luke 10:2 and to encourage others to do the same. He will not relent until the Lord Jesus Christ calls him from this earth into His loving arms and says, “Well done, thou faithful servant.”
