Every Word of God is Pure

How do we know that the Word of God is exact? Are the words trustworthy? If so, then we should give them the utmost consideration. Perhaps one of the biggest concerns is knowing what the Word of God tells us. We cannot possibly evaluate its importance in our lives until we first read and become acquainted with it.

Once we are aware of the contents of God’s Word, we can then ascertain how effective it is, particularly in our own lives. What does His Word tell us about sin and the affect it has on our relationship with God? What are the ramifications of sin when it is unchecked in our lives? After sin is dealt with according to God’s Word, we can then evaluate how His Word can transform our lives.

How do we know that the words written in God’s Word are what God intended them to be? Some of the authors in God’s Word indicated that they and others were inspired by the Spirit of God to pen those words. The apostle Paul wrote these words to the church in Corinth: “What we received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words” (1 Corinthians 2:12-13). God’s words are not from this world, nor are they from human authors (even though they were penned by these authors). God inspired the authors to write His words.
